This community-engagement project invited Franklinton residents to use their cell phone cameras to document themselves and their neighborhood on Instagram. Participation is easy! Just post to Instagram using the hashtag #asseeninfranklinton. Your photography can be portraiture or landscapes, artful or topical. It can be your own personal story, or a larger social issue, as long as it's about the people, places, and events in Franklinton. This is Franklinton's chance to tell Franklinton's story.

UPDATE: In December of 2017, we asked different groups of adults, high school students, and youth groups to give us feedback on which #asseeninfranklinton photos best represented their neighborhood.

Using this feedback, we curated a selection of 11 vinyl banners that will become a public art installation.
